Last year I made some 9-strand cable in fine silver for a project that never got anywhere, so it sat around for a while. I think there were about fifteen feet of it. (It was made with 0.015" wire, three strands twisted, then three strands of _that_ twisted, so nine altogether.) Anyway, because of some difficulties with taking my gold bracelet off and putting it back on, I decided to make myself a new bracelet with the softer wire, as multi-strand wire is more flexible than solid.
