I've recently been playing around with Turk's-heads that have a round mat tied in one side, closing the knot into a bag, or basket shape. There are an infinite number of possibilities for this, but I'm currently using just a few of them, mostly by way of my friend Patrick Ducey (member of the IGKT).

This is a modified version of his 12-bight bag, lengthened enough to make it fit an iPhone.

A shorter one, tied to the original specifications. This is nice for a few dice, or a handful of change.
The larger bag, with 24 loops around the edge. This one takes about forty feet of string, and several hours, for me.
