I made this ring just to see if I could. I'm still not sure if I got the answer I wanted... it's certainly not cost-effective to make these, though that hasn't been enough to stop me before. Sorry about the finger, I was having trouble figuring out a good way to display the ring, and impatient to get a picture done so that others could see. Here's a page with much better pictures, I think...

There are twelve links, each one is a 4-loop Prolong Knot. There is no "master link", no clasp -- the twelfth link was tied between the two ends, to complete the ring seamlessly. This is a "high-maintenance" ring, not for everyday wear, and is definitely not suitable for wearing as a "pinky ring".
