For those who would like to have a Turk's Head ring made in precious wire, but who do not wish to spend a great deal on it, I am offering composite rings, of pure silver and "color of the moment" 18K gold.

The rings will consist of a solid strand of pure silver, doubled, in an appropriate pattern for the desired size, with a twisted strand of 18K gold run between them. Availability will determine the color of gold used, but I can guarantee that every shade I've seen so far looks just great when surrounded by silver. It might be pink gold, it might be champagne, it might be yellow, or it might be some in-between color where I've tossed two of the above colors into the melting pot and rolled out the resulting alloy into wire.
Cost of the rings will be less because I'll be starting out with silver, not gold, making the work considerably easier. It will be more than a silver ring by itself, as I still have the work involved in making the 18K twisted wire, the expense of that wire, and the work of getting it into the ring. The price will be approximately half of the base price of the particular knot pattern chosen for the ring.
If you would like to take advantage of this special offer, be sure to state that in the comment field when you fill in the order form.
